But I was 21, young, love to party and stay up all night, and I discovered Drai's , the ultimate after-hours club. Well, now that I'm older, and in Los Angeles I recently discovered that the the master himself, Mr. Vincent Drai has opened Drai's at the much anticipated W Hollywood.
Blue skies, shimmering pool and amazing decor. The only thing, it is not an after-hours like Vegas, Hollywood closes at 3am, which is good enough for me, since I go to bed now at 12 at night instead of 12 next day afternoon.
Inside, you've got a choice between silver and gold half-moon booths facing the frenetic dance floor...or looking out the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside is your oasis of dinning and poolside cabanas by day—which, before you know it, evolves into bottle-service shenanigans behind drawn curtains after dark. Which, people: You always need bottle service in LA, LV, MI and NY. Stop complaining about bottle service prices. It has always been extreme, that is why at this age and day, If we like to go to great venue, and want to sit down and have a good time, pull out your Benjamin Franklin's and just have fun! If you don't have the bank to spend at least $700 minimum don't even bother.
Once the night really gets revved up, you'll want to ascend the glass-railed stairs for the best spot—a VIP balcony overlooking the pool and, well, the entire city.
